What is your return policy?
14 days exchange or store credit with receipt
Discounted items, special orders, custom items, bathing suits, hair
accessories, food and seasonal items are final sale.
Returned items must be in new salable condition and include all original
manufactures tags (attached), boxes, packaging and seals unbroken. Worn
or washed items will not be accepted.
Do you ship?
Yes! We are happy to ship within the US, with a few items excluded.
Everything is sent either Fedex or UPS so we are unable to ship to PO
Boxes. Shipping costs will be determined at time of purchase.
Do you gift wrap?
Yes! We offer complimentary gift wrapping on majority of purchases.
Style of wrap may vary as many of our items are large or odd sized.
Items being shipped will be wrapped and packed to ensure they arrive
safely, please understand this might not be the prettiest of our gift
wrapping however it's extremely important to us that your gifts arrive
in the same condition it leaves our shop.
Do you accept special orders?
Yes! We are happy to place special orders for you providing the vendor
accepts them. Turn around time will vary. Special orders are final
sale.
Do you have an email list?
Yes! You can join here. We promise not to bombard you with emails,
it's maybe ten a year about sales and special events. If you are
looking to keep up with the daily happenings in the store follow us on
Instagram.
Do you ever have sales?
Yes! We have two main sales a year. Spring around June 1st which
culminates as our annual sidewalk sale the last Saturday of July and
Fall right before Thanksgiving with additional markdowns after
Christmas. The baby/kids sales happen around July 1st and after
Christmas. Occasionally we will have other sales, join our email list
and follow us on social media to stay updated.
Do you offer online shopping?
At this time we do not offer any e-commerce. Part of our shop is the
experience of coming in, seeing and touching the merchandise. The being
said we understand not everyone is able to always come in person and we
are happy to take phone orders or work with you virtually.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available for purchase in store or by phone.
How can we contact your buyers?
We love that you love us and want to be included in our store! All
information can be emailed to info@shopfoundobjects.com. Please
understand we get a lot of requests (100s a week) and cannot always
respond to everyone but we do look at the emails and if we are
interested will write back.
What does Found Objects mean/ Where does it come from?
When we opened our shop in 2013 it was filled with all things not
available in metro Detroit if not the entire state of Michigan. Hence
the Found. We have always had a mix of fashion, home items and gifts so
there are your Objects. Over the years the store has evolved and we
learned that more than anything we are a neighborhood shop and our
customers love to buy their favorite things right in their backyards as
well as see the cool new things we discover for them. The name probably
doesn't suit us like it once did but that's how everyone knows us now.
